This is probably a really dumb question, but how do you add your country and flag to posts?  I'm sure it's something really easy, but I can't figure it out.   Mistake

Thanks.

Country flags are based on the ip address somebody is using, they are automatically updated 24 hours after a member joins.

I have a problem with me flag. It is the flag of USA when I am in fact in the UK.

I am not using a proxy but I do know this sometimes happens with AOL users because of their generic IP system (or something like that) basically I think it's because AOL UK is a franchise of AOL.com and when all the servers are busy here they transfer us to the american servers, hence the american IP address.
I could log off and log back on in an hour and my IP could indicate I am in the UK.  I have come across this problem before, I just don't want to be accused of trying to cheat or lie about who and where I am.

I've got friends in London whose IP # always shows them being somewhere in Virginia in the US because they use AOL.  There's not much you can do to change that.

I've updated your flag for you and sent you a PM. The AOL thing had you as coming from Reston, VA. I wonder why AOL doesn't update their IP's properly like all other ISP's do, but I have run into this situation before...

We also have a Scottish flag and a Union Jack if you'd like either of those to represent you.

now , you really shouldn't be asking this question , since is doesn't rely on the member to do that , but the answer from admin makes a difference to enlighten me me more , to know that is not just the country you used to sign up that shows up in your posts ,rather your country of location at that moment - better for me .
